I'm thinking about purchasing a 2012 L4400 with loader and agi tires and was wondering if there were any pros and cons with the tractor. Also what would be a fair price to pay for tractor a 6ft woods bush hog. The tractor has 500 hrs and your normal wear and tear.

Need more information to give you a better answer, which L4400 is it?
L4400F
L4400DT
L4400HST

What loader does it have?

There is a huge range in the price difference between these tractors. ;)

I just bought the same tractor and absolutely love it. I was deciding between it and a new one and am glad I bought the 4400. More than enough power but small enough to be handy.

We have one with a backhoe. It's a very good size for the HP. No problems with it. The HST does whine, but that's normal. The back tires are filled with Rim Guard and that has made it much more stable.

Because the new tractors have a lot more pollution controls on them its made the older ones more valuable. You will see a wide range of prices if you can even find them. Condition and hours is the price factor just like with cars and trucks. Here are some current listings and as you can see the prices vary.

Good luck!

I imagine price varies from one region to the next, but a friend of ours bought one for his landscaping business and loves it.

It is so easy to use, anyone on his crew can use it even if they have little to no experience on tractors.

This may be of little benefit to you but I thought I would toss it out there.

I bought a 2012 L4600DT with FEL with 178 hours on it in NC where I live for 17,500 cash.

Was in excellent condition except for one scratch on the hood that was repaired with paint that did not match, other than that has been great tractor.

Trying to give you comparison for tractor similar in size, I am not familiar with the differences in the 2 models.

Happy hunting and good luck.
