I have not tried that but can tomorrow afternoon.
Thanks
Weather too bad to take it out. But I looked at manual and it had 2x the amount of recommendation of pedal movement so I adjusted that. Will road test it tomorrow.
If it needs clutch replacement...any idea what kind of $$ that I could expect to replace the clutch?

If you had to adjust the clutch pedal that much it's not sounding good as they normally don't need much adjustment.

I do all my own repair work, so I wouldn't be able to tell you repair labor costs.
Parts wise, clutch disk and pressure plate is fairly cheap, in the $200 range for aftermarket.

But on the bright side a clutch replacement is a whole heck of a lot cheaper than dealing with the HST.

That's how I'm looking at it too... I'll let ya know how I make out when I get a chance to run it. Perhaps tomorrow but definitely Friday if not before.

I ran it today. Tried lightly applying clutch as you asked and all went well.
I think that adjustment I made fixed it. Interesting enough it was stuttering before but I didn't realize it as it basically felt like tires out of round like when they are cold during the winter. But since adjustment I made it doesn't do that any more either.
I used it to move 40 ton of clay-sand fill and all worked as it should with no apparent issues at all.
I also looked at the speed ratings in the original brochure (yes I keep that stuff. LOL) and I met or exceeded each one listed during transit.
