L4060 Main fuse?

Morning all, well I have a question that even my dealer can't answer properly so I'm hoping someone can chime in and let me know what they have on their L60 tractor.

The main fusible link on my L4060HSTC is a 100a. The Kubota parts finder says it should be an 80a and so does my dealer. I bought it brand new around 8 months ago and that's what was in it. I sure as heck don't want to run a fuse rated 25% more if it was done in error on assembly.

So, I'm wondering if anyone minds confirming what they have in the fusible link box above their battery? First fuse on the left and I would appreciate the insight.

For reference, the Kubota part number is T1270-30580

Put an 80A in.
If it doesn't blow you're good to go.

Mines has an 80 in it. The cover also has 80 on it.

Huh, look at that. Looks like a trip to the dealer is in order for an 80a. Better to be safe than sorry in this instance. I don't remember what the cover said on it as I'm at work now, but I'll be sure to look again as soon as I get home today.

It's very possible that it has an upgraded alternator if it has a heater kit, defrosters, and other accessories and that would also upgrade the main fuse.
Downgrading the proper updated fuse could cause you some serious issues.

Either you don't have the upgraded alternator or someone never changed the fuse.

If I turn on all the lights and rear defrost the volts drop to 12.4. So I think I must have to small alternator.

I have never used the rear defrost. I only use the cab lights.

My L4060 just died, no dash no nothing. Was running a few minutes prior. A couple times the fan kicked in briefly when I slammed the door or what not. Started pulling plugs up front to check for loose connections. Pulled the 2 slow blow fuses on the right of the fuse box in front of the radiator fine. The 2 on the left ended up ripping their guts out when pulling them out. There something im missing on properly removing those fuses?

Main fuse was a blue 100@ with 100 clearly stamped on the lense. Sticker on the fuse box says 80@. I do have the upgraded alternator, so I'm guessing that's the discrepancy. Pretty sure I've never replaced it & i'm the origional owner.

Rear defrosted is it's own 40@ fuse 6 odd inches down & to the right of the main slow blow fuse box. Didn't trace where that went though.

Started looking for a replacement 100@ slow blow, couldn't find any & ended up here. Figured I'd contribute to the hive mind. Likely to just use an 80@ if I can't find a 100@.

Can't get back to troubleshooting the origional issue without the main fuse.

And to answer my own question... The 2 fuses on the left are bolted in front & back despite the 2 on the right that look identicle being friction fit. At least use different looking fuses Kubota. Simple enough to unbolt the whole block, flip up the covers & unbolt the cables, but not obvious at first glance. The 100@ cable or slot on the bus bar is labeled 80, 100.
