Hello everyone. I have a 20 year old L3710 hydrostat with 1700 hours on it. It will not shift between the ranges. Before I tear into it any good advice as to the fix. It was shifted from med range to hi range and now it won't shift. Lever appears to be froze. Used penetrating oil on everything but no luck so far. Thank you all in advance. Steven

Start the engine, and wiggle the hst pedal back and forth while trying to shift the high-low range shifter. Sometimes they get stuck and taking some of the load off by wiggling the pedal back and forth can free them.

On the Grand L 10's sometimes the linkages would get bound up, so that may be worth looking at too. I've had them show up with debris stuck in between the links, and I've seen the linkages at the shifter gate become bound up. Inspect them closely.
