I am getting ready to order seals for the ends on my axle, Wolfman was kind enough to guide me through what I needed to order earlier in this forum.
Question? I noticed that I also have a small leak on the backside of the axle where the drive shaft goes in, it appears as it is leaking on the axle side not the engine side. while I have the tractor tied up this spring doing the end seals is this a hard fix also, or should I have a repair place do this??

The seal where the drive shaft meets the front axle is easier to replace than the others. So do it too...

Agree, that's an easy one to do.
Do as many seals as you can when you have it all apart!
And check all the bearings for unusual wear and make sure to put them back in the same place you took them from, as they will be matched to the race. ;)

Thanks, to do the seal looks like I need to drop the whole axle off the tractor is this the case? I looked at the parts list and looks like the shaft goes in from the engine so would have to slide it away from it?

Dropping the front axle on your L is easy.
If you have a loader remove it, if easy to do, if not you'll need to drop the axle out the bottom and slide it side to side.

2 bolts on the propeller shaft cover, slide the cover to the rear, disconnect the 2 hydraulic lines, pull the 8 bolts on the mounts, lift the front slightly behind the axle pull the axle out the front.
