I have a l3410 that is leaking oil from the Hydraulic oil line inlet. The schematic shows that there is an o-ring there, but it looks like a pressure fitted pipe. How do I take it apart and how do I put it back together?

All the inlet pipes are held in place with a single bolt in the tab on the pipe. ;)

Based on experience and a couple of do-overs, obtain a couple or three of the corrrect o-ring from a dealer using a known part number (this way you'll have a spare if you pinch the first one or it rolls into a dark corner of the shop).

The local parts house o-ring may not fit exactly and may create a problem quickly or later when inconvenient.

Use grease to hold the o-ring in place to get the parts stabbed together.

Alternatively (preferably in my view), clean both mating surfaces and o-ring groove scruptuously clean and use a smear of hi-temp RTV beneath and onto the 0-ring. Holds everything in place and provides a little more sealing security. Let sit a few hours before pressurizing by starting.

Please post back your experiences so we may all learn.

ok I screwed up.... it wasnt the inlet pipe, it is the tank port coming from the relief valve I think. Here is a picture I cant seem to figure out how to get it off or fix it. Its the line with the missing paint... it leaks out of the housing- where the line goes in.

thanks all.

What do you connect to that block, via the 2 quick disconnects?
Where is the block at?

I have a similar issue. The valve assembly is under the floor board on the right side of the tractor.
I think mine is the inlet tube. There are no tabs holding that tube in place.
I think I have to remove the valve assembly to pull the tube out? To do that I guess I need to remove all the hard lines connecting to it?

That's the low pressure tank return on the hydraulic block. I have ZERO hands on experience but should be straight forward. Unbolt the block and see if it will pull out far enough to get to the pipe. If not remove the other pipes.
