L3301 right fender handle

I never liked not having a handle on the right side fender when I needed a place to hang on to. I ordered one from the local dealer after an hour of telling them what I needed and showing them on a larger tractor in the yard. I thought I would post the Part #'s here in case someone wants to add it.

It was around 45.oo total and installed in about 5 minutes. Just remove the plugs and install.

Like you, that was one of the first things I did after I got my tractor. You would think that Kubota would deliver it that way???

Thanks for posting the part number. I had ordered on from my Kubota dealer when I bought the tractor. I waited five weeks, calling each week to check status. Then I saw your post. I googled the part number, ordered one online from Messicks Kubota on a Friday afternoon, received it the following Tuesday..Great service....

True but the 4701 is physically bigger than the 3301/3901

I mentioned earlier, I ordered mine from Messick's Kubota, had a 2 working day delivery. They have a Parts Helpline - 1-877-260-3528... You might call them reference your L 4701..... I'm sure they could help you...

Looked up from the Kubota parts on line, and they report this is the handle for the 4701:

T1060-29470

Same as the others - so while the tractor is bigger, they still use the same handle.

I accidentally ordered only one nut from Messick's (I was assuming that they sold them in pairs). I went to Home Dept and found the right size which is in metric size.

It came in a small hanging plastic bag that contained 2.

It was left off for the same reason they left off the feature that makes the 3 point hitch less jerky. Cost. Adding the little things at production adds up; and if the cost were to get much higher, it'd put it over the competition's MSRP, which helps take Kubota out of the "game" so to speak.

Also keeping the MSRP down differentiates it substantially from the Grand L tractor; and that's why the standard L's sell so well in comparison.

I'm sure glad these ol' forums remain online. Wealth of information. I needed this. Got my 3301 this fall. No handle on that side...weird. The part number you provided will make my hunt so much easier! Thanks!

My 3301 had the extra handle on it but honestly I never use it BUT it just looks right being there.

Hum, my 3301 HST came delivered with the hand hold installed. Guess some do and some don't.
