So I made a post about 2 months ago asking for advice on how much I should pay the dealer for a second attempt at repairing the leak from my bellhousing. So far I have spent $2400 and yesterday used it for the first time since getting it back and it's still leaking. It's leaking hst fluid from the bellhousing drain valve in a drip drip drip. I'm a mechanic by trade and the only reason I took it to Kubota was I figured when I sell it I wanted to be able to show receipts for the repairs. I called my dealer and they don't have any idea what could be leaking. Any ideas? Should I try another dealer?

What does your bill say in the way of describing the problem you took it to them for?

If it says "leak and bell housing," and in 60 days it is leaking again I would be yelling very loud.

Since getting the tractor back 2 months ago, what have you used it for, you indicated you have not used it but did you when you first got it back? Have you added any fluid?

Does it leak when stopped over night?

So will the existing dealer not stand behind their work ?
Yes they told me to bring it back up there, the issue is they don't sound very confident in their guess as to what could be leaking. I already lost the entire summer of work because they have had it since beginning of June.

I got it back about 2 weeks ago and this was the first chance I had to use it. 2wd sitting still using the backhoe started dripping

I have a 3240 that did the same thing. A bad seal inside the transmission case was leaking. My dealer talked to Kubota and it was a known issue. It was repaired under warranty.
