I just purchase an l3200. I'd like to replace my mower, but I haven't found anything that will match what I have. My mower is a john deere that has 3 decks on it, it's about 12' wide. Is there anything from 8-12' wide that will fit the L3200?

That's a lot of deck for only 25 or so PTO horsepower. I guess that you are doing golf course work and not the tall heavy stuff?

Why not use the decks off the JD, it is a three point set up, right? Or is it a front mower set up?

What are you looking for, finish mower, reel mower, brush mower, or flail mower?
All of which at 8' to 12' are too much mower for your tractor.

3 deck mowers. One on each side and one on the back. It uses the PTO under the tractor. There is a hydraulic tank add to the back of the tractor above the read deck. Each deck has three motors on it.

How about a picture or two?! I'm having trouble thinking of anything that wide that my L3200 could handle. Are the outriggers self powered? Does the hydraulics adjust them, or power them?
I believe last year the Big R was selling a rear finish mower, that would drag along one or two self powered, maybe 4' outriggers.
I have a 5' brush hog. Wish I had a 6', but it wouldn't be worth the money to replace what I have. The land is too rough to even consider a 7', and the grass where it is heavy would be too much for it. I can mow 3 acres of really heavy grass in 2-3 hours with the 5'. A 6' finish mower or brush hog would do it faster, particularly if I kept it up. It would be worth the initial investment if I was starting out new.
Tractor time is quality time. Get the job done too fast, and you sit like a broken man with tears in your eyes, trying to think of something else to do. Save the $$ you don't spend, on implements or beer or something.

I'm not sure I entirely understand the task, but if you are mowing 3 acres the mower you're looking for is a lot larger than would be practical. Sounds like way too much for an L3200 unless the decks have their own engines.

The 6 foot rear finish mower seems like a perfect match for my L3200. It will cruise along doing an acre every 22 minutes. That's under 1-1/2 hours for 3 acres.

I am fairly familiar with what you had. Excellent large relatively flat surface finish mowers. Most though are gang reel type though. If the wings are hydraulically raised, sure makes mowing banks easy.

One thing to consider is you have moved from a purpose built mower to a more generic do all tractor. Your purpose built mower therefore has tailored decks and blades to work with the machine, it is highly unlikely you will find the same system matched decks for the Kubota, instead you will find a fit all deck that is neither optimized for a particular machine nor a ideal dedicated mowing platform.

Which means horsepower for horsepower, I doubt you will be able to pull the same size decks as your dedicated and system designed mower. I have to agree with the others - about a 6' deck for most uses, although in certain finish conditions a larger deck would be ok, providing you mow often.

Landpride also has the AFM 4211, that they claim 30 horses will run. Probably has a price tag about half of your tractor? Only good for smooth parks & estates. 11' wide. The 6' brush hog or finish mower sounds better and better...
