The L275 came just before Kubota's major effort to penetrate the US market. It's a solid tractor that represents the evolving ideas of the time - redesigned front wheel drive, integral power steering that didn't put a shaft through the clutch housing, and dual-disk clutch for live pto.
With all that the L275 still got overshadowed by the new L345 - which Kubota promoted heavily, trying to gain a bigger share of the emerging US market. It had 4 cylinders, bigger rubber, more power, stronger loader, etc. all for a bit less money compared to comparable blue and green models of the time. (The green ones were full-featured too - they were actually Yanmars).
The L275 was (is) a solid machine - just wasn't strongly marketed so few were sold in the US. As always, prompt cheerful refund if info is bogus. Take care and have fun with your new toy. Dick B
