While repairing the clutch I managed to ruin the threads on 2 of the flywheel bolts on my L260. They are not available from Kubota. I have called several dealers and salvage yards with no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Kubota part number 15103-25163 or 15103-25160. Bolts are M12 x 1.00 x 60mm. L260, L240, L210 should fit. Thanks.

ecarter, you should be able to go to your local hardware store or farm center store to purchase metric bolts. Get a high grade bolt. Buy a nut for it while you're there. Then you can screw the nut on the bolt and if its' too long grind it to length and use the nut to clean the threads.

If that doesn't work go to Fastenal and order them. Look them up online and they'll get them in couple of days.

Welcome to the forum. What part of the state you located?

I have been to 4 hardware stores and they have the nut, but no M12 x 1.00 bolts. Same with Fastenal and Grainger. The only ones I can find on Google are stainless and from the UK. There are 4 thread sizes for M12 bolts, 1.00, 1.25, 1.50, 1.75. The 1.00 seems to be kind of rare.

I'm from Paola, 45 minutes south of Kansas City.

A couple things, socket head capscrews, very tough and sometimes easier to find odd thread pitches.
How about an import car dealer? M12 is something you may find in chassis parts. Honda comes to mind.
