I posted some time ago about the need to replace my hoses, and I have procrastinated. Until last weekend when one blew! I took it to the NAPA store and had the replacement made, at a cost of $44.50. A 3 foot long hose.

Anyway, I have found an online source that beats that price by a long shot. Since I haven't blown another hose, I am making measurements and will spec which fittings. They aren't rocket science, very easy to do, especially since I had the receipt from the one I had made to verify the fitting numbers.

Anyway again (sorry for rambling) there are 3 quick disconnects from the FEL to the pump. The hoses that attach to these disconnect fittings appear to be pipe thread, not a flared fitting. Can someone confirm this? I don't want to remove a hose and loose the fluid just to verify this.

The fittings that are on the adapter block on the side of the tractor?
Yes they could very well be BSPT threaded fittings and not NPT fittings.
Picture's would help a lot in this case. ;)

Well, on my tractor (bought used) there is a short hose connecting to the pump (adapter block?) and the quick disconnects are in line after that, not direct to the pump.
