Hi guys:

I'm used to dropping the 3 point arms(Ford 3000) outside the implement with lots of room to push them on to the pins. All implements were easy that way.

The RCR1260 is 32" pin end to pin end and the L2501 with R4 tires only allows the arms to go to 30.5". So I have to get one side on and then lever the cutter over hard to get the other side on.
Once on, I have to set the stabilizers for 1/2" clearance on each side which is pretty close.
I was thinking that 1" rear wheel spacers would solve this but my dealer think that's a bad idea for some unknown reason.

Is this a common problem?
What would you guys do?
Tire center to center is 45" like the book says.

Yes and tire clearance after you hook up is almost nil. Wheel spacers are in my future.

I have the RCR1860 and an L2501. Get a quick hitch. Not sure the cost of wheel spacers but attaching the QH won’t require taking wheels off and makes attachments a breeze.

Quick hitch as said above makes it a breeze to hook and unhook.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
I tried putting the pins the other way like imnukensc suggested but I almost had to squeeze the lift arms together and it just looked wrong.
Then I cut the lower pins shorter which got me about 1-1/4" but still not enough.
Third try was turn one pin inside and leave the other out which works great. I would not have cut the pins down had I tried this first. :)
The hog sticks out more to the right but it's fine. I just cut about 5 acres and barely notice the offset.

Glad you got a solution that works for you!

BUT I had to laugh, because your solution just looks wrong to me! :ROFLMAO:

But it is all about what works for us...glad you are happy with your solution!

Well, I guess it IS wrong. But the tractor is wrong too.
It's Ok for now but I would like to get 1" spacers to make it righter.
