I recently acquired a L2500 along with some new property. It's old and rusty from being near salt water, but it runs fine. The hitch lever was very tight initially. Now it's nearly frozen and can only be moved with channel locks. The lift works normally once the lever is moved. Any suggestions before I attempt to pull the entire hydraulic system off the top of the transmission?

You don't need to take anything internally apart.
First thing to do is spray all of the yellow sections with a rust breaker like PB Blaster Or Kroil and see if that fixes your issue.
If that doesn't do it loosen first nut 90 then nut 80 that should make the linkage just move without resistance, then adjust accordingly.
