Just purchased a really nice low hour L245DT with loader. It had been sitting in a barn for a few years. Little tractor runs amazing well but the loader stopped working, although it worked at first. The loader hydraulic lines are plumbed into a valve on the right fender which have an adjustment screw (if your sitting in the seat), from there they are plumbed into the valve below and in front of the seat. The three point still works great though.

I suspect the 3 point and loader use the exact same reservoir, which is the transmission reservoir and it is full. The loader is a kubota factory loader.

Any ideas on why the loader would stop working? My thought are maybe the small valve on the fender got turned by one of my boys?? Ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

I am having a similar problem with a recently bought B4200. I have tracked the problem to the valve under the seat, some people call a diverted valve but also seen it called a flow combiner valve. Flow goes to the 3pt which works fine, but when I switch it to the FEL I get no flow at all. Any help would be appreciated by this tractor newbie! Sorry to resurrect an old post.

Yes it uses the same oil as your tranny. Start with your valve. Make sure nothing is mechanically loose on the valve control.
