Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and tractor world. I bought a L2202DT in december and I'm on the way to replace the front axle oil. Since
I found that the wheel bearing case is the same as for the L275, I assume that the oil capacity for it is 300ml
for each wheel as it's indicated in the L275 manual. However, since I dont't find any US correspondance for the axle itself,
I would like to know if anybody could tell me the oil capacity for it. In the absence of any gage in the fill plugs, it's difficult for
me to know what is the exact right level. Thanks for your help.

Far as I know, all Kubota tractors have level plugs and fill plugs. Pull the level plug and fill until oil flows out the level plug.

I'm actually unable to identify the level plugs from the illustrated parts list I have in hands. As soon as I will have access to the tractor I will visually try to locate them.

The front axle on that model most likely does not have 3 plugs just the fill and drain so no level plug, most diff cases didn't have level plugs because you never know if the axle is level. ;)

You will also have 2 axle cases to fill too.

Main Diff 2.6L
Each axle case .3L

Remember to remove the fill plug first..

With 2.5L in the main differential, it's filled to the fill plugs. I feel it's to much oil. Am I wright? If yes, what would be the exact level? at half the diameter of the differential? Half a inch under the bottom of the fill plug?
