Today I was hookin up a hayrake to it, but wanted to drop off the low hanging belly mower bracket, that was under it. Did that fine, went to start it, and the key felt funny, as I went to start position. No spring back, like usual. Hmm, went to the fuse panel, nothing blowed. Stuck a pair of gerber pliers across the hot, to the big term on the solenoid, fired right up. Ordered a new switch. $49.51 from the highest priced dealer, in the state. Anybody got a link to what I should have paid??:D

Doesent seem bad to me. Want to buy same thing in canada is probably more.

Auto parts are near double. Comparing rock auto to my regular supplier.
The ign switch for my 97 intrepid was 100.

The key by itself is 32130-31810 = $9.66
The switch by itself is 37150-31820 = $31.56
Those together would be $41.22

A switch and key together is 37150-31800 = $45

Try to figure that one out!

All prices are from Messicks

Time I add shipping to that, I prolly come out ahead, ordering locally...

I just thought of something, I could be making a mountain out of a mole hill, I have 2 kubotas, the one starts by the key, the newer one starts by the switch on the left, IIRR! I might have no problem at all... Gonna go check, this AM, to make sure I didn't go off half cocked...:D

I thought the l185 had two switches. The key controls the power going to the other switch and light. Other switch is a toggle, turn left for glow plugs, right to start  :D
