Wow ... yesterday I drove an L series tractor for the first time ... what a surprise when I first mashed down on the treadle to 'reverse' the tractor ... !!!!

Compared to my B2601, the L treadle pedal is positively 'feather-like'!

Please Kubota - issue a 'field fix' for the B treadle.

On a related note ... I also noticed the movement of the FEL is SO much smoother on the L ... what gives?

I've read other people mention the same thing. I've wondered if there are stronger springs on the B.

My B felt just like the L when I test drove them both for the loader and the HST pedal. Mine is the bigger B though, it may just be a problem with 2601.

Yes, I believe the the B model you have was eventually renamed/absorbed into the 'LX' line and thus is 'up market' from my little B.

I've owned both the B2601 and L2501. And indeed, the treadle pedal is much easier to use on the L series tractor. I'm not sure precisely why but, the L series is nowhere near as fatiguing as the B series tractors.

I've had 3 HST Kubotas - B7500, L3200 & L4240. I can't say I remember any difference in the pedals. When shopping for the first (B7500) I did have a long look at the BX series. I don't recall what it was that turned me off about them, but after a minimal amount of seat time the BX was ruled out.

Standard l should be similar. The Gl has more electronic manipulation, thus the light pedal.
