my speed contrl on my l3800 hydro wont keep the speed unless i keep my foot on the pedal. has anyone had this problem? the lever on the left wont stay in place its loose and keeps going all the way back up

Speed control or throttle control?

Hand throttle control is an adjustment under the dash to give it resistance, foot control will always return when you let off.

Speed control (HST control) is supposed to always go to neutral when you take your foot off the pedal.

The adjustment for cruise is under the left floor board. Sounds like it needs a little more friction so it will hold.
