While I was mowing last week, the blades suddenly stopped working and now I cannot get them to engage. I have tested the PTO switch and check wiring to the PTO clutch. I have found that the pto clutch connector ground wire is not showing ground. I ran a jumper from the pto clutch ground wire directly to ground and then the blades engaged and operated fine.

How can I check to see why there is not ground at the pto clutch? Any help is appreciated. Also, does anyone know of a kubota z725 service manual available as pdf?

Yup - what Dan said in post #2 above.
Follow the ground wire to where it connects to the frame. Sounds like it's worn, cracked, etc. if it just stopped suddenly. Replace as necessary. If cable is good remove and clean the connections, reattach.

Quick search showed a WSM on eBay. The mowers are still made by Kubota so I would imagine they are out there to be had.
