Kubota U55 and SVL75 Engine Oil

Does anyone know if it's safe to use Amsoil Premium 15W40 CJ-4 oil in my Kubota U55-4 and SVL75 first generation machine? I know the U55 has the diesel particulate filter and I think the SVL75-1 has the EGR. I would like to run the same oil in all my Kubota's for simplicity.
The SVL75 owners manual says not to use CJ-4 oil, but Amsoil's web site says their premium diesel is good for EGR engines. I'm confused.

Yes, it will work from what I have read. If it was mine I would use the Series 3000 5w30 HDD instead of the 15w40. It will give you a little better fuel economy than the 15w40. I use it in all my diesels.

Even the Kubota Brand 15w40 has a CJ-4 rating. http://www.colemanequip.com/parts/KubotaParts/70000-10001/568
