My Kubota snow blower model L2235A is having an issue with the chute turning to the left under hydraulic pressure. No leaking hoses. Hydraulic fluid level seems fine. While engine is turned off I can move the chute by hand but with a lot of elbow grease. I’ve done nothing to check the motor mechanism itself. It does turn to the right with no problem. Just can’t get it back. Gears at the chute itself are well greased. Any thoughts before I get the pros involved?
Thank you in advance.

Too late, there are a lot of Pro's on at fixing these units / issues.

Swap the 2 lines that run the rotator, if your issue swaps:

Either it is that your not moving the control far enough for it to override the fast dump (regen) or it's out of adjustment.

It has a bad quick disconnect on the line side, sometimes just disconnecting and reconnecting will fix the issue.

Report back after that test.

There is all so a service bulletin about the motor being to tight to chute needing to be adjusted away to give more clearance & not jamming up
Mine wouldn't turn 1 way & had to follow the Kubota servicing bulletin & remove motor slot out 2 of the 3 mounts & put back together
Hasn't been an issue since

RCW, thank you for advice. I will give this a try. It certainly sounds like the answer as I’ve never had a problem before. My next step is to get the lifetime membership. OTT has been a great asset for an amateur like me. I’ve learned a lot and still am.
Thank you and Happy New Year

RCW, you nailed it. I reinstalled my snowblower and hit the detent a few times and the chute seems to be turning left almost as well as right. Thank you for your help.
