That looks nice. Is it a 5' cutting bar? Why you parting with it?
Whoever purchases it needs to be reminded to keep pets and children restrained when in use !! Dogs who like to chase things DON"T win when he attacks this.
Corrected by adding N"T to the word DO. Making sure folks understand sickle bar mowers can be dangerous. Thanks for the heads up Bill.

I have always wanted a sickle bar mower, but would prefer a PTO version. (no mods to tractor)
But every one I have ever seen is too big, too expensive, or too far.
A sickle mower would make trimming my road frontages easy- it would cut down on the fire danger from those tossed cigs.
Bill, keep you eye open for one of these (or similar) used. Then the price is reasonable and you can pull it with Lil Foot. I see them on Marketplace for $600 or so. Some are made by Swisher in Sedalia, Mo.
