The 3200 has not replaced the 3000, both 3000's are cabs, a 3030 has the same engine as the 3200, but has position control 3PH, extendable lower lower links, tilt steering etc., cab is not an option on the 3200.

It does get confusing and maybe I misunderstood your post.

This sort of topic is with out a doubt one of the most head scratching chats that's ever gone around here on OTT. My guess is something like a B3030 or L3000 is a little more pleasing then a Kubota Thingamajiggy.

For me I just look at the letters in the Kubota models. The letters atleast tell you what size tractor your dealing with and as far as the numbers no telling where Kubota came up with those.

When I first began looking at Kubotas, I had to spend a lot of time on-line and walking around tractor lots to even begin to get an understanding of what it all means and I'm still not there and have owned two BX's, two GL's and an M.

I was once told that the numbering system says/said something: number with 3 zeros was a standard/consumer model; eg, B3000; and number with zero- number -zero, was a so-called professional model, a little sturdier and heavier.

I have never been able to verify this.

That's what I've come to understand and is a simple way to explain it.

Well done, man!

The letters are easy to understand; the numbering is not. Is there a difference between Standard and Professional, as between a B2300 and a B2320, for example, where the last 2 digits (1,2 etc + 0) indicate, Professional (heavier build)?

I have an older "L" (1983) that is only 23.5 HP, Thus a "L235". I'm getting the feeling that at some point they changed their whole system of naming all the different models. Would make it nice if there was some kind of a recognizable pattern that's easy to associate. Maybe it's just a Japanese thing.
