kubota model info (smaller diesels)

hello all

looking into a heavy duty garden tractor and i've always really liked the look of the kubotas but i don't know much about them. are there any good websites that lay out model differences (my budget is only for used tractors)?

preferably, i'm looking for something with a diesel (i've always wanted a diesel tractor) to do some light mowing (less than an acre but it has to be a belly mower), tow a 1/4 ton trailer around the yard (with firewood), and eventually serve as a platform for a FEL.

what older models should i be looking for? thanks

Take a look at the B's or BX's in Tractor data:

I am most familiar with the B6100 or B7100. If you get one that was made after 1983, it will have a belly PTO. Before then, they ran the belly mower off of the front PTO.

If these are too big for you, you can look at the G series tractors.

It's usually easier and cheaper to get one with a front end loader than to add one later. Bx is up to the job you describe. B is bigger and will do more and cost more but it's just garages- I don't know anyone who says they wish they would have bought a smaller one.
