I think we did one of "who has the oldest Kubota" one time - but never seen who has the most hours!

I am sure there are those that have seen the 3 digits on an old tractor flip a few times! And those with a 4 digit meter get to 4k or more!!!

I had an older M4000 that had over 9000 hours on the original 6 cylinder. If it had been 4x4 I would still have it.

I think perhaps an average would be a fun number.. I'm at approx 2.44hrs/day average on mine.

I have lost track but I think my 42 year old B7200 with 3.1 digit meter currently reading 388 has gone over top 4 times - possibly 5. Original engine just keeps chugging along but like me not as strong as it used to be.

I dont know who has the most hrs,
but i bet i can surely beat anyone with the least amount of hrs, lol :ROFLMAO:
All my operating hours are in the future. I have plenty of "thinking about it" hours, though.

That would not work for me. I only seem to look at the hour meter a few times per year...and soon forget what I saw!

I just remembered there are two kinds of tractor hours.

Hours that accumulate at PTO speed and linear hours that clock one hour per each hour the key is turned on.

So for proper comparison, two categories would be required.

My B2910 displays PTO speed related hours, while my BX displays key on hours.

My gut tells me the hours on the larger tractor would have to be multiplied by a factor for comparison. Never concluded what that multiplier should be...

I just calculated what my hrs per 5 gallon is on both of my bota’s as we did 93hrs this month combined mowing grass and used 60 gallons of fuel. So as of now I have one that reads 985hrs and 707hrs on the other. I am getting 8.5 hrs per 5 gallons mowing which is excellent in my opinion! They are an awesome machine fur sure

I parked my L2501 last night with 15.3 hours. I got it 3 weeks ago and it rained for a week. We got a pretty good workout yesterday. Bushhogged about 4 acres that hasn’t seen a mower in several years. We (me and the tractor) also cleaned out about 300 yards of fence line.

You might lose that competition. I have 7 hours on my B2601. So far I have run the ROPS into the brick garage opening, scratched the side of the hood while mowing nearly destroying the protruding model number. I had a log fall off of the loader and put a big dent in the hood. This I was able to partially punch back from the inside. When attempting to put the loader back on for the first time I severely mangled the metal hydraulic lines on the loader. Still functional thank goodness. And lastly one of the front wheels on the mowing deck is bent and has a small crack. All of this before my first payment. On the bright side I have accomplished a lot and learned a thing or two.

I won't win. It only had 30 hours on it yesterday when I finished mowing!

The Ford it replaced on the other hand...

Well... The hour meter was broken when I got it.

I haven't set any records with my L4310 yet as it only has 930 hours on it. Still looks and operates just like new.
