I just installed a new to me B2551 front mount snowblower on my B6200DT. Everything seems to be working fine with the exception of how touchy the lever for up and down is.....If I were to grab the lever and push, the blower instantly lifts up. The worst is putting it down, where its very hard to slowly drop it without the blower hitting the ground hard. It has a single directional spool valve for up and down movement as pictured. Is there an adjustment I can make to slow it down?

Do not know of any external adjustment other than perhaps engine speed.

Typically restrictors (fitting with small orifices) are placed in the hydraulic lines. I know my chute rotation lines have them in place to keep the speed controllable.

Perhaps others will be able to provide further guidance.

Added in Edit:

Looking at the online parts drawings, there appears to be a restrictor.

13 RESTRICTOR, .062 RESTRICTOR 70060-01072 $6.02

After selecting the link below, select 012000 FRONT MOUNT LIFT ASSEMBLY and look for item 13.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Thanks 200mph. I took apart the fittings on the cylinder last night and that restrictor was not there. I will see about buying one today.
