Kubota D782 / D950 Engine Rotation

When standing in front of your engine while it is running, which direction does your engine turn when viewing your crankshaft pulley? Clockwise or Counter-Clockwise. Reason I ask, is that I acquired a b8200 with a locked motor and I am just trying to determine what the correct rotation of the motor is. Thanks

From the front it's clockwise.

Hi, Thanks for the info! I acquired a basketcase B8200. The motor is locked up and I am looking at different gasoline motors that I may be able to use in place of the Kubota motor. The B8200 originally came with a D950. However, this one has a D782 in it. The D782 is locked up. If the tractor was in better shape, I would probably put a D950 in it, but considering that a motor would be worth more than the tractor itself, I am going to try my luck on a motor swap.

I did a lot of research on motors that would work on my B7100 (D750), ended up with a D950.
There is one on EBay now for a good price.

The dimensions of all the different Kubota motors created too many retro fit problems for my liking.

As far as putting in a different engine, Check the hydraulic pump hook up, That is the #1 limiting factor to changing the motor to a different one.
The B8200 has a different pump that a lot of other motors and it outputs at a much higher hydraulic output than most others.

Also take note that going from a diesel engine to a gas engine your going to loose a lot of torque and power.
