KUBOTA BX2680 Idle Speed

Anyone know what the idle speed is suppose to be for a KUBOTA BX2680 .My dad thinks its idling high,around 1500 rpm or a little over...

Not sure for that model, but seems high. Both mine idle well under 1000.

Mine idles right around 1400-1500. BX23S. My BX2670 did as well.

That is the correct idle speed - right around 1400 rpms

When mine is cold it runs a bit low once she warms up right between 1350 and 1400 according to the tach

If you want to adjust it, it is very easy to do.
Just find the end of the cable, and re-adjust it.

My 2380 also idles about the same, 1400-1600.

1400 RPM is where my 2680 idles.

My BX1860 was set to ~1250 RPM when it was new but I bumped it to ~1400 and it seems happier there.

My BX23S TLB idles 1,500rpm. I wouldn`t want it any lower than that either.

Brand new BX2680 here and it idles at 1400 also. Traded my BX2370 in on it
on Monday. Delivered on Wednesday. Wife graded our drive (1/3 mile 43 year
old gravel) and my brothers drive (also 1/3 of a mile of gravel). Took her
about and hour with my old Cub Cadet 1550 box scraper. Ordered her a Land
Pride GS1548 today. She loves the BX2680 . I have yet had a chance to use
it.

idle speed 1500rpm......wow, these new over bore engines run great but
my ford n would idle at 450rpm
my truck will idle at 750rpm
OK,OK so I'm an old fart and can't get over it!
