Just replaced the fuel injector pump on my bx24 with the D902-e3 engine, starts right up but boy does it smoke now. I see where some engines require timing of the fuel injector pump but I'm unsure how i can time this one. Note: stamp on fuel injector pump matches the original but it looked like it could work for 3 or 4 other models
Thoughts or ideas?

Do you have all the shims for when you removed the old pump?
It's not a set amount could be 1 could be 4.
If you installed all of those then you have injector issues.

You both were spot on. The shims were stuck to the bottom of the old injector pump. Once removed and put on the new one.....I only had to uninstall it twice to get that fuel rail slide in the right place.
Works like a champ now.

Appreciate the guidance!
