Yes, I have searched far and wide before making this post. My tractor does not have the fancy knob by your feet to control the down decent of the 3 point. I wish it did so I could lower my 3 point.

I have a 11/16" fancy bolt with a long point with a O-ring in the middle with a 9/16" nut used for adjustment. I remove that bolt all the way out and the 3 point still does not lower.

Under the seat I have a control valve lever that will go into three positions. To the left, straight up, and to the right. No matter which position it is in the 3 point does not go down.

I was about to start taking off the 3 point handle assembly and see if anything is out of position. But figured I would join up and get some advice.

Thanks!

#1 :Every part on that tractor is metric so please start using Metric wrenches and sockets before you strip nuts and bolts. ;)

#2 Go to Kubotabooks.com and download the WSM.

#3 Please don't start randomly disassembling the valve, most likely (like 99% sure ) the problem is not the valve, that valve is extremely complicated and a ton of parts and one part in the wrong position can lead to some very expensive repairs.

The three point is only powered on the up stroke, so if it was up for any length of time it's probably just stuck in the up position.
You will need to put weight some weight on the arms to get it to break loose and drop.
I recommend putting a couple boards across the arms and load it up with something very heavy, like 1k lbs, it also helps if you can jump on the board to give it a shock load to break it free.

I have already downloaded and read the service, repair, and parts manual. I have found nothing on what to do if the 3 point gets stuck in the up position. If someone else has this tractor and has found it please point me to that page. I just might be able to handle it from there.

Right after I got done putting the new motor in the tractor and got it running for the first time, I raised up the 3 point. It has been stuck up for about two weeks. The last time it was used before that only God and the tractor have the answer and neither are talking.

I currently have a 3 point finish mower attached with it about 2 or so feet off the ground. I have climbed up and jumped up and down with it not budging. It is going to take way more that 1K pounds to budge this 3 point back down. Something inside has to be messed up for it to do this.

More information, that's always helpful. ;)

I was a little off, this model has a much easier valve to work on.
I was thinking of a B8200.

It could be the feed back linkage is out of adjustment and causing the valve to be in constant up position, disconnect the rod.
Or the lift lever is moving without moving the spool valve inside, this will require you to dissemble it and check the valve guide arm.
Caution, the system will be under pressure, support the mower or it will come crashing down spraying fluid everywhere when you remove the valve.

Is the tractor acting like it's bogging down, or have a heavy whine?
If not it's suck in neutral, if it is it's stuck in lift.

Everything else surprisingly works great. Except the stupid three point will not go down. I will say the HST in high is noisy, but kinda expected it since it has not been used in a while. I drained all of the old fluids out and put in fresh. But in about 30 days I will dump and fill fresh again.

Both high, low, and the 4X4 all work great! This one has a front bucket, it all works good too. With only one minor leak.

I will be cautious when I remove the lift handle. But I have had many hydraulic fluid baths in my days.

Thanks for all of your help!

I will post pictures of what I find if I am able.

Check to make sure the lever (control lever for up and down) is actually turning the rod into the tractor. I assume it did on the up movement but make sure you are actually getting movement in the down position. It just may not be getting any signal to go down?

Pull it apart because it's got an issue with the piston and/or the cylinder!

It started working! :)

I had to put it back together to move the tractor this morning.
When I put it back together I noticed 1 o-ring missing and one messed up.
I replaced both, it raised then lowered on its own.

I am so glad it works!!

Thanks for your help!!!
