Yes has push button on control panel .push once solid light is for thumb.push twice for hammer

Remove both hoses from the cylinder, put them into a bucket, activate the thumb control both directions, if you get fluid out of each hose then the issue is in the ram, if fluid only comes out of one of the hoses, then the issue is in the valve for the thumb.

Removed hoses one hose has pressure the other does not.can reverse hoses works the thumb the other way . What and where is the valve that controls the thumbs port.

The solenoid valve for the thumb to breaker control seams to not be working as it won't switch from breaker control to thumb control, could be a fuse blown, could be a wire disconnected, could be a mechanical issue or a bad part.
I would suggest at this point you need to get the WSM (Work Shop Manual, aka Service manual) for the unit.
It should give you the troubleshooting info for the system.

Got to have more help.i know someone out there has seen this before.have repair manual takes I don't know what to understand it.everything works on machine but thumb works only one way .is the rocker switch on hand control have voltage on it? If so where does the wires go and what do they operate.

My repair manual talks about everything but the sp ports and wiring and how and what makes it work

I fixed it on right side of machine under floor is a solenoid valve with two solenoid .removed one was stuck. Thanks for the help but was a lot of looking and trial and error
