There is a kill switch on the tractor already. But do you mean some sort of remote switch?

The current kill switch is called a safety switch by most people, and then the shutdown switch is the key switch when turned off.

Yes there is an keyed ignition switch, kill switch/night switch/ safety switch, a number of terminology descriptions.

This topic comes up from time to time. You realize that a thief is not planning to drive away in your slow tractor. A thief will come with a trailer, and the trailer might have a winch - no need to start it and less noise.

FWIW, my tractor is about 250 miles from my residence. I do the following: it and all implements/attachments are chained down together (it just slows them down), cellular cameras watch the area sending me alerts (the sheriff's office is about 10 minutes away), the FEL is chained to the front axle with a Kryptonite chain and lock (time consuming even with a grinder, if they do not see it they will rupture the FEL piston causing a fountain of hydro oil, hard to load on a trailer with the loader all the way down) and most importantly the gate to the driveway is locked (difficult to plan a theft when you cannot see it in advance). My wife's family farm is next door as are several relatives. Of course, I also have insurance.

FWIW, you cannot stop a sophisticated thief, but such thieves do not target compact tractors on private property - too much risk for too little money.

Put a electric fencer and attach the lead to the tractor.
If you want it to not look to obvious put up a small fence and back the tractor into it.
Get a real powerful one and you'll know when a thief tries to steal it.
Have a camera watching it and show us the video!

Security, I park my machine outside
@Elliott in GA nailed it.
A good thief is not going to start it and drive off.
If you want to stop the dumb thieves, just pull the main fuse.

Get a good seaboard container or Wolves!
I do wolves for thieves and trespassers and seaboard for weather protection.

I should also have noted that the tractor and all related equipment are under a 30 x 30 shed, and the shed has an electric fence all around to keep the cows out (property is not fenced off from wife's family farm). The electric fence wires have spring loaded couplers to drop the wires.

I have always thought that my cameras might eventually capture a cow, a deer or something else doing the electric fence dance. My home security camera captured a deer trying to raid our birdfeeder; the birdfeeder is connected to an electric fence charger. The deer gave a high donkey kick and ran off.

Or let my grandson play on it for about 20 minutes.

No one will be able to start it then.:)
