Was looking for a way to keep the cell phone AKA (pain in the A**) in my view as I have a sick father who calls when i'm needed. When I keep it in my pocket I cant hear or see it light up. So I took the belt holder clip off the phone holder and zip tied it to the hydraulic hoses above the loader valve. Simple and cheap for me.

Outstanding solution!
Simple is always good and cheap, well, I resemble that remark.

Depending of what you're doing with the tractor/loader, those hydraulic lines might get a little HOT.

Just something to keep an eye on, so your phone doesn't get too hot.

Looks like a great set-up, and easily viewable! :)

If it works for you, all that counts. I stick mine between the sun visor and the roof on my cab tractor and in my bib overalls when I run the open station.

Go to your cell-phone “Settings” screen.... and select “Vibrate” when receiving calls. I cannot hear mine either, but my shirt pocket vibrates vigorously and solves the problem.

A good friend of mine worked around noisy equipment and set his phone to blink the flashlight on it like a strobe. Even in daylight it's very noticeable.

Ear plugs or Head phones with bluetooth is what I use. ;)
Keeps the tractor / equipment noises down and I can hear if i get a text or a call.
