My u17 mini excavator runs great for 30 to 45 minutes then gradually starts getting hot. Eventually it gets really hot and if I run it too long the small water filler tank is boiling when I turn off the machine. The machine runs great and seems to have good power. Also, there is no discoloration in the exhaust

not being an A$$ but lets start with the company - KuBOTA ...........only ONE "A"
Getting to the heat - have you cleaned the radiator REALLY REALLY well???
Once you get to the blown head gasket and the exhaust color change - it will be WAY too late.
boiling water in the reserve tank is a sign of bad things to happen soon.
GET a good air compressor = blow out the radiator well, then do it again, start from fan side out.
