First of all, I'm very impressed with this site and am looking forward to discussions.

Tomorrow I am picking up my new BX 2370-1 with LA243-A FEL, 54" finishing mower and a 5 foot 3 point rear drag blade. I am not going to be able to sleep tonight :D

Nick: I have the same group of things, except the lowest HP. I like the little machine, but have had a few problems. If you look at recent posts in the top room as to repairs, etc. There is a guy who was really stymied with loss of PTO power, etc. Since I also had those problems, I passed on to Ben my advice and that is pay attention to the fuel filters. Of the tractors I have had these must be much finer and when plugged, you lose power. To help extend the useful life of the filters, I bought a filtered fuel funnel off the Internet. Very expensive, but it is so fine it will stop any water coming along. Since I have used that funnel, the plugging of fuel filters is much less of concern. The manufacturer of the funnel says to test it you place some water in it. If water passes, you have a failure.

On the fine screen funnel it is a RACOR. Screen is 149 microns, which is about 6 thousands, the thickness of a sheet of 20 pound paper. Screen is Teflon coated stainless.

I am also new to OrangeTalks. Just picked up L3800 w/LA524 FEL and Land Pride RCR 1260 Rotary Cutter. It did feel like Christmas morning when I picked up the package.
