My wife is browsing FB and comes across this...2021 BX23S FEL, BH, with 280 hours on it for $9K.
How is that possible? I'm tempted to cash in some 401K just to by it. I'd have to see if my MMM would fit.

Yes, too good to be true, therefore probably isn't true.
Normal form is to ask them for a photo of something obscure that you claim to be interested in. If they don't actually have the tractor they can't provide it.
Having said that, it's not actually a Facebook marketplace scam, and they look like a legit dealer. So maybe it is an actual red hot deal, and maybe you can go see it in person. Are they near to you? A BX23S would be a good upgrade for you....
If it is legit, it won't last long.

Can't be a serious offer ... Don't cash in you 401K.

But if you have time, ask them when you can come by and see it ... Get the serial number, check if it has been listed as stolen if they really have possession of it ... Check with Kubota finance to see if it's paid for ...

I would be very careful. There is no Caseihagwoodbury dealer listed on the official CaseIh website on their dealer locations. When you click on the link you provided, it goes to a website but seems to only be used tractors they have and at least one of the pictures is of a building with a different company name on it.

I'm one of those sceptics that believe if you can't walk up and lay your hand on it, it just may not exist and the old saying still goes; A fool and his money are soon parted. If it is legit, I would be all over that beauty like a hoard of fire ants. Good luck.

There appears to be a legit tractor dealer at the 1445 Main St address listed on the web page associated with the link you posted, but the web page doesn’t match and neither does the phone number.

Woodbury Tractor looks like a legit dealer. Case IH Agriculture Woodbury looks like a total scam.

Looking through their “How to Buy” is nuts. Send us 100% of the purchase price and we’ll send you the machine. No contract. Nothing to sign. No option to stop by in person. No finance options so no banks involved.

The construction equipment listings are priced maybe a bit low but not totally out of line. The tractors are 1/2 or less what I’d expect to see.

It’s a scam. If you can’t just walk away, I’d suggest call or go by Woodbury Tractor Company and find out if they’re sharing that address with Case IH Agriculture Woodbury.

Here's a screen shot of the brick and mortar on google earth. If it weren't 200+ miles one way I'd drive over and take a look. Looks like a used tractor lot. Good point about being paid off or stolen. I did see the two different websites, different names on the same building. If it is legit someone is going to get a hell of a deal.

Definitely try to get the serial number and put your eyes on it fast. If they flounder on letting you see it in person it's a scam. If it's legit it won't last. Some dealer will snap it up to resell.

Kubota finance will not answer any questions regarding liens or payoffs to outside inquiries.

I bought my tractor last year for what seemed like 10K under market and called them. Kubota warranty people were very helpful in answering questions but Kubota finance told me to pound sand sighting customer privacy.

The difference with my deal is I found it on a reputable independent equipment dealer lot the day they got it in so I had eyes on it. I guess they just saw a quick cash deal on a fast flip. They claimed the tractor was traded in to a JD dealer that wholesaled it to them. After I bought it I registered it in my name at mykubota.com and I have even had a warranty fix as fails repair done on it so I assume it was free and clear.

If you think there’s any chance it’s legitimate, you have the two phone numbers for the two businesses located at the same address. Call both and see what they each have to say about the other. If they share space, they should be familiar.

I wouldn’t hesitate to drive 200 miles for that deal after verifying the serial number doesn’t come back to being stolen. It would have to be pay them cash as it’s loaded on my trailer, not that goofy scam wire transfer held in trust without a contract crap they lay out on their website. But for that deal, 200 miles each way would be worth it.

Neither Case Construction Equipment, nor Case IH Tractor shows a dealer there, Woodbury is near the center where the target is ...

My guess is it's a spoof website ... While Google maps Street view does show it there , if you click on the link from Google maps for Woodbury Tractors website, you get a TOTALLY different site! https://www.woodburytractor.com/?ut...ess_profile&utm_campaign=11249663120222284879 and they sell Yanmar ...

I reported that website to the domain registrar weeks ago as it is a scam.

-Woodbury isn't spelled "Woodburry".
-The real business at that address is Woodbury Tractor Co. https://www.woodburytractor.com/
