Intermittent Starting Problem

There are three of them one on the shuttle lever, one on the clutch, and one on the pto control.

ok all the safety switches are working properly i am getting a clicking sound in the relays in the dash not sure which 1 but im guessing 1 must be bad ?? which is for the ignition ??? and how would i test them ?? or if its clicking does that mean its bad ?? thanks for everyone's help

I'm not completely familiar with the wiring in your model, most models in the past do not have a relay in the start circuit, the signal (voltage) just goes threw all the safety switches till it reaches the solenoid at the starter.

How are you testing to make use the switches are working?

test light on both sides of the switch to see if currant is going thru it ironically the tractor started right up today no issues but the glow plug light will not go out still ??

Not saying this is a problem, but on the newer computer controlled tractors you have to be careful using a test light as the current draw of the light can cause issues.

You really need to get a schematic and go threw it all, sounds like you have a spot in the wiring that is wearing and touching. I would chase all the wiring and make use it's not got a place in it where there is damage.
