I recently purchased a 2020 Kubota kx033-4 excavator. Hoping to get good advice on insurance coverage. For the near future it will stay on my property, but later on I will do some work for others. Of course we all want reasonable premiums and good coverage. What companies can you guys recommend?

Well you are talking about two different types of insurance. One, staying on your own property, can be covered by an addition to your homeowners/farm insurance or insurance like KTAC if you are just looking at the machine coverage. Working for others require a commercial insurance and the coverage for liability in doing such work.

Depending on what State you are in will determine what options are available and what requirements must be met.

Every state has different available options.
Talk to an insurance agent / broker in your area.

Insurance on your property $, Insurance off property $$$$
