This is a L4400. It does seem to be a freeze plug replacement. It's on the left side ahead of the starter. Orange thing.

That heater is in a freeze plug location and it is the same type I posted. ;)

Just make sure you measure the hole. Kubota has a couple different sizes. 32mm and 30mm are the sizes I know of.

Just read the review on the link. I would have to say you should be able to find somewhere to stick it. Even if its up underneath somewhere. A little heat goes a long way
Pretty good idea. I knew of these but had forgot about them... I could use it on something else if needed, kind of a nice benefit

Check the oil pan, most Kubota's have aluminum pans.
Heating the water directly is by far the best and most efficient way to heat a motor. ;)

I've never had any issues with cold starts; however, I live in an area where we rarely see sub zero temps. When I do need to start it in the freezing cold, I will sometimes use a shop light. I agree with NIW above statement.
