Sources reveal the real posibility of all semi-auto firearms to be regulated to NFA status.

What this means is each arm must be registared and tax stamped.

This may well apply to all semis, long arm and hand gun.

This has leaked from someone close to Biden.

No amount on stamp yet.

If you are a study of history you will realize this is a prelude to confinscation.

Those of you who think that your bolt and levers are safe.....this is NOT true, yours are next.

This could be a one time stamp or an annual stamp. Stamp could be a low as $5 or as high at $200.

Also look to exhorbitant taxation on ammo if ammo will be available at all next year.

Get the word out to everyone you know, this is important.

Good thing I donated all of mine to those in need recently! :D;):p
Do I get a tax credit for my philanthropy?
Maybe I should start a foundation like the ultrarich do for legal tax evasion.

Just got this from a friend of mine this morning, a veteran 30 year teacher....

"My favorite is that the NRA wants teachers to have guns. Can you imagine how many more guns they would sell!!! And some of the teachers would be killing each other . . ." :D

This is YOUR future, sooner than you might think.

Any of you who have purchased in recent years have had to pass a NICs check, background check. If you believe your and your guns are not on a registry you are GREATLY mistaken, you are.

Prior to WWII Austria took the same rounte. The Nazis confinscated the Austrian record books and began confinscating the firearms from both German and Austrian citizens. Door to door. If the citizen did not produce the gun the citizen was shot in the chest in front of his home. It got to the point that most citizens just threw thier guns in the yard at the roadside rather than be searched and killed.

Read the above link, do your own research.

Understand who you are dealing with now, a slow motion coup is taking place.

Understand who the useful idiot is.

We are at the 4th stage, have been for a while now.

There is a wall with your name on it, Dennis.

They tryed gun registration here in Canada. They spent billions of dollars only to drop it. There are a few provinces that want to start there own registation, another waste of money. It's not guns that kill people, it's people. They need stiffer sentences for people who commit crimes. I think we need more protection from government. That's my rant for today.

I've herd countless times this last week that guns don't kill people, people kill people with guns. That said, society as a hole cannot handle the responsibility of semi automatic weapons and should not be made available to the general public!

Nonsense, semi auto firearms for sportsman have been around since the early 1900's. Violent video games and movies just hit the scene in the late 90' early 2000's. In the amount of time in existence, which one has caused the most problems in the shortest amount of time.....

Iowan you are completly wrong Americans have the right to bear arms know where does it say except for simi automatics. I for one have simi automatics in my safe and have had some of them for 45 years and know one has been harmed but them. All my weapons are kept locked up at all times , and if I had a mentaly disturbed child I wouldnt show them how to operate a weapn and would never give them the combo to the safe WTF was that mother thinking. I dont see the goverment coming to the door looking for my guns but if they do I think there will be a civil war thatll make the last one look like and ice cream social Americans will not give up there guns, Fear the goverment that fears your guns.....Dan. PS society as a hole has no problems with any firearm.

What you apparently don't realize is how many civis (hole but think you mean whole) own full-auto weapons.

Much more than you might think........thousands.....tens of thousands.

How many WHOLES do you think have between 1K and 100K rounds of ammo in their garage? More than you think.

Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretence, raised in the United States. A military force, at the command of Congress, can execute no laws, but such as the people perceive to be just and constitutional; for they will possess the power, and jealousy will instantly inspire the inclination, to resist the execution of a law which appears to them unjust and oppressive.
—Noah Webster, An Examination of the Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution (Philadelphia 1787).

“Firearms stand next in importance to the constitution itself. They are the American people’s liberty teeth and keystone under independence … from the hour the Pilgrims landed to the present day, events, occurences and tendencies prove that to ensure peace security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable … the very atmosphere of firearms anywhere restrains evil interference — they deserve a place of honor with all that’s good.”
George Washington
First President of the United States

I try to stay out of these things as the serve to do nothing more than insite people,, But I would love to know where you got your info on the AUTOMATIC WEAPIONS that are floating around?
I have known of only 1 person that had a full auto weapon, and that 1 weapon was so regulated by the BATF he sold it to a class 3 dealer because of all the crap the BAFT gave him. Also ANY one posessing a weapon that is capable of full automatic fire that does not have the proper paper work is headed to club fed big time.
Oh but wait that would only be for the lawabiding person, DA GANG BANGERS will be able to get any kinds of weapons,,, WHY well lets see if drugs can get in to the country, then guns can get in too eazy peazy. I don't care who you are if you want something outlawed by the goverment, your going to get it one way or another,, so outlawing drugs, booze, guns or semi autos is a mote point.
Now if someone is going to post something and want it to be believed that you should post the source of the information not something said on CNN or CBS of some other so called news media. Before you say anything do the research first fill the post with facts ( not hearsay) and post where the facts were gleaned,, Simple as that and I still want to know where this info came from!

Class III FA is readily available to those who can afford it.
:)

I know those with FA, I have shot FA.
SOTs can produce FA for themselves as 'samples' and for LE with letter.

There are plenty.

President Bush’s Letter of Resignation From The NRA

After the hateful words by the National Rifle Association, a wave of resignations have begun. This is not the first time such a wave has happened. In 1995, former President George Herbert Walker Bush sent his own letter of resignation to the NRA, in response to then Vice-President Wayne LaPierre’s attacks on Federal workers doing their jobs. The topics and issues he brings up are as relevant today as they were in 1995, in light of the NRA blame-filled conference on Friday, we are reprinting this letter from the first President Bush in its entirety below:

May 3, 1995

Dear Mr. Washington,

I was outraged when, even in the wake of the Oklahoma City tragedy, Mr. Wayne LaPierre, executive vice president of N.R.A., defended his attack on federal agents as “jack-booted thugs.” To attack Secret Service agents or A.T.F. people or any government law enforcement people as “wearing Nazi bucket helmets and black storm trooper uniforms” wanting to “attack law abiding citizens” is a vicious slander on good people.

Al Whicher, who served on my [ United States Secret Service ] detail when I was Vice President and President, was killed in Oklahoma City. He was no Nazi. He was a kind man, a loving parent, a man dedicated to serving his country — and serve it well he did.

In 1993, I attended the wake for A.T.F. agent Steve Willis, another dedicated officer who did his duty. I can assure you that this honorable man, killed by weird cultists, was no Nazi.

John Magaw, who used to head the U.S.S.S. and now heads A.T.F., is one of the most principled, decent men I have ever known. He would be the last to condone the kind of illegal behavior your ugly letter charges. The same is true for the F.B.I.’s able Director Louis Freeh. I appointed Mr. Freeh to the Federal Bench. His integrity and honor are beyond question.

Both John Magaw and Judge Freeh were in office when I was President. They both now serve in the current administration. They both have badges. Neither of them would ever give the government’s “go ahead to harass, intimidate, even murder law abiding citizens.” (Your words)

I am a gun owner and an avid hunter. Over the years I have agreed with most of N.R.A.’s objectives, particularly your educational and training efforts, and your fundamental stance in favor of owning guns.

However, your broadside against Federal agents deeply offends my own sense of decency and honor; and it offends my concept of service to country. It indirectly slanders a wide array of government law enforcement officials, who are out there, day and night, laying their lives on the line for all of us.

You have not repudiated Mr. LaPierre’s unwarranted attack. Therefore, I resign as a Life Member of N.R.A., said resignation to be effective upon your receipt of this letter. Please remove my name from your membership list.

Sincerely,
[ signed ]
George Bush

Well Mr Dennis T.

The Oklahoma city bombing was an internal government job, It has been proven over and over again and the gov has disposed of many innocent lives to keep its secrets from getting out.

The building was imploded from the basement and the FBI/CIA set up mcveigh as a patsy. Much like the underwear bomber who was escorted through security via the FBI and "Placed" on the plane. The shoe bomber and many many many more the FBI/Cia exploit to keep the fear of terrorism alive and to claim yet more of our freedoms.

Darrell Scott's testimony to Congress after loosing his Daughter in the Columbine massacre.

At this very moment in a cemetery in Southern Denver - Chapel Hill Cemetary - they're erecting 13 crosses that I think are well known across the country, as a permanent memorial at the head of my daughter's grave. And my heart really longs to be there with my children, Bethany and her husband Don, Dana, Craig, and Mike, but it's with their blessing that I'm here today, and I appreciate that.

I realize that I'm a mere pawn in today's hearings, but I'm a willing pawn, because I dare to believe that I can make a difference. Every once in awhile, a pawn has been used to checkmate a king. I have no hidden agenda, and of course I have no political aspirations. I simply speak to you as a brokenhearted father, and I only ask that you allow your heart to hear me for the next few minutes.

Since the dawn of creation, there has been both good and evil in the hearts of men and women, and we all contain those seeds: We contain the seeds of kindness and we contain the seeds of violence. And the death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joyce Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher, and the other 11 children who died, must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers.

The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used, neither was it the NCA - the National Club Association - the true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in his heart. In the days that followed the Columbine tradgedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA, I am not a hunter, I do not even own a gun, I'm not here to represent or to defend the NRA, because I don't believe they are responsible for my daughter's death, therefore I don't believe they need to be defended by me. If I believed that they had anything to do with Rachel's murder, I would be their strongest opponent. I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tradgedy, it was a spiritual event which should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies. Much of that blame lies here in this room - much of that blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves.

I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expressed my feelings best, and it was written before I knew that I would be speaking here today, and I'd like to read that:

Men and women are three part beings: we have a body, and we have a soul, and we have a spirit ... And I believe we fail to recognize that third element, that really does need to be recognized by the legislative bodies of this country, that's been ignored for so long. Spiritual influences were present within our educational systems for most of our nation's history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries, and we know this is a historic fact. What has happened to us as a nation? We've refused to honor God, and in doing so we opened the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine's tradgedy occurs, politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that continue to erode away our personal and private liberties.

We don't need more restrictive laws. Erik and Dylan would not have been stopped by more gun laws or metal detectors. No amount of laws can stop someone who spends months of planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts. Political posturing and restrictive legislation are not the answers. The young people of our nation hold the key, and there is a spiritual awakening that is taking place that will not be squelched. We don't need more religion, we don't need more gaudy television evangelists spewing out verbal religious garbage, we do not need more million dollar church buildings built while people's basic needs are being ignored. We do need a change of heart and a humble acknowledgement that this nation was founded on the principle of simple trust in God.

When my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, he didn't hesitate to pray in school, and I defy any law or politician to deny him that right. I challenge every young person in America and around the world to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School, prayer was brought back to our schools. Don't let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millenium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your conscience and denies your God-given right to communicate with Him.

And to those of you who would blame the NRA, I give to you a sincere challenge: dare to examine your own heart before you cast the first stone. My daughter's death will not be in vain: the young people of this country will not allow that to happen. And remember that even a pawn in a master's hand can accomplish much.

Thank you very much.
