Is there anyone out there that knows if I can increase the HP on my m110DTC. Believe it’s the 5.8L kubota engine.
Welcome to the forums!

I am sorry for the lambasting you are going to get for suggesting that kubota engineered something that is under powered.

YOU WILL BE TOLD TO BUY A BIGGER TRACTOR.

It’s ok ***128514;. I don’t let hobby guys get to me. She’s always done the trick till I got a baler rake combo. And now it doesn’t like hills.

Is it conventionally pump injected or common rail emissions control? If it's pump injected you can shim the pump. and /or adjust the wastegate for more boost (if it's turbocharged) If it isn't and has an ECM, you are basically SOL.

Curious as to what a baler - rake combo is? I run hay and I'd never rake and bale in the same operation. Maybe wheat straw, never forage crops, but then I'm open to everything.

Should be big enough, certainly not a 'hobby' tractor.

Welcome to OTT
I didn't realize hills in E Texas were steep enough to slow down a 110 hp tractor pulling a rake/baler combo. What type rake(hyd or ground drive)? Normally when HP is increased on an engine then cooling capacity also requires an increase.

look at the little stuff first. How many hours? Is it time for a valve adjustment? Is it getting the fuel it needs? Filters new/clean? Debris in the system (algae)? Is air filter squeaky clean? do the turbo hoses and pipes have clamps? Tighten all of them. I've seen some loose lately and they'll leak a little when under pressure (boost). From there you're going to have to do some basic diagnosis. Is the turbo making pressure? Is the fuel flow low? What is the engine compression pressure? Is the brake sticking?

That thing outta be enough to pull a baler; guys around here pull balers all the time with 85-95 hp tractors, and in the "hills" to boot.

Is this a “trick” question? That tractor oughta be able to move the pyramids.

I still want to see a rake / baler combination. Never heard of that. Only thing close to that I've seen is a Bale Bandit or a Bale Baron and it takes some pretty serious tractor to run one.

Nearby farmer who does the hay on my land (and many others) once used a bale bandit. It was a wonder to behold when operating properly but he had lots of down time and finally replaced it with a large square/multiple small square unit that is much more reliable.

They are out there for large applications. Looks like a lot is going on and it needs to be very flat fields. Youtube it and you can see them.

Unless it was wheat straw on a very dry field, I'd never do that. The issue is, the forage next to the ground will always be damp so the bale will be damp too and I don't use a wheel rake here. The forage (alfalfa and short stemmed grasses, don't lend themselves to that rake style. I use a rotary like a Kuhn Gyro.
