1.6' forward is a bit short if you're stacking on pallets, maybe 2.5' for the centre? And you have the load of the pallet forks and the pallet as well. You're probably still OK, but it's a bit tighter than it looks.

I was giving the measurements Kubota uses for their ratings. 500mm is 1.6'. Its easier to approximate the graph in the book using the given X and Y axis.

There are only a few species of wood that I get around here that approach 5000 pounds, green, per full cord. Obviously time will tell once I actually get into it, but I feel confident based on the numbers and what I have seen on YouTube.

So around the time (2007-ish) when the L2800 with a LA463 loader was "upgraded" to L3200 with a LA524... Kubota changed where the lift capacity was being measured from (It was the more realistic weigh at 500mm; changed to the more marketable rating at the pins).

LA463 and LA524 lift exactly the same weight.
