What other pieces of info can you give us? Range selector, speed of cut, RPM'S?

Remember, on a hot day any metal surface can be hot to the touch. Lines carrying hydraulic fluid will be a bit warmer than the ambient temperature. Please describe your issue in a bit more detail as Hokie asked.

Several times, folks on OTT have cited HST systems can get to ambient temperature plus 100 degrees F, so that's pretty hot.

Be curious what the answers to Hokie's questions are as well.

If you smell burning paint, it's getting too hot. Many industrial hydraulic units can run up to 140 F and automatic transmissions over 200 F.
