How often should the hydro/trans fluid be changed. We bought a b7100 8 years ago. we have never changed the fluid
If you have never changed the hydro fluid in 8 years, it definitely needs to be changed now along with any/all hydro filters.
Are you experiencing any hydro problems now?
Have you done any other maintenance on the tractor?
There are allot of people on here with your model that can give specifics to it.

If it were mine all the fluid including coolant would have been changed 8 years ago. I prefere to start with a clean slate and go from there.

Yea I wrote on the operation forum about a 3 point hitch control problem.I would like to tap into the hydraulics to fit a front end loader but there has been no maintenance on the tractor ever. In the past winters after attempting to start it about 45 times it will finally start but this is the first year it has not been able to start.

I bet that little orange fellow cries it'self to sleep every night and dreams of some TLC. New fluid, filters and maybe even a wash job. Poor little guy...:(

The newer thought from Kubota is to change the filter at 50 hrs, top off fluid and then change fluid at 400 hrs. Soooooo, 8 years is out there but how many hours are on the machine? Time also plays a role in the change intervals.

That said, I agree with Bulldog, the little orange fella is crying itself to sleep. lol
