Had to get a 4WD leak fixed and decided to pay the $125 in labor to get the 11 gallons of hydro/filters changed as well. Just received my receipt in the mail today and see that they used UDT when refilling. Should they have used SUDT or SUDT2 instead? Does it matter? 2010 (or so) L4400HST.

Well I doubt that your manual would call for UDT2 because I think that was released after your tractor was built.

Manual calls for UDT or SUDT. Just didn't know if it would have been 'better' to use the SUDT or the 2.

I don't think it will matter in the overall scheme of things. My salesman said they use regular UDT in everything. I don't know if that was the truth or not, but that is what he told me.

better? well that is the basis of the argument of synthetic vs non-synthetic oils.

IF you change it as it should be changed - not a problem in the world! In you area - the super cold is not a problem either, cold flow is a great advantage of synthetics and durability.

the good news - you paid for what they placed in, had it been S-UDT2.... the bill would have been higher.
