Where can I get a cylinder like this? Maybe I need a smaller one? I have a 40y/o L355SS and use a brush hog, spike, and box blade. I will probably add a rake and rent a tiller or disc. Our local hydraulic store wanted $600 to fix and I think I have seen them around $175-$225. Ideas?

Here’s a Cat 1 for $133.... and they have Cat 2 for $178.

But I also have a question for you guys: I see these which have ordinary ports... and then I see others with an interconnect (perhaps incorporating a check-valve?). Which type should I buy?
And does it make sense to buy a Cat2 cylinder and simply bush it for Cat 1 implements so either could be used? (My lift-arms are reversible to accept either.)

An L355SS takes a Cat 1 top link not a Cat 2 top link.

If you are willing to wait they go on sale at least once a year. Got mine on sale last April. 2.5" bore 10" stroke around $170.

I wish it had a 12" stroke and a check valve. The lack of check valve hasn't been an issue, I'm just finding my snowblower slowly drifting down when not being used.
