Hi, new to this forum. I have an MX 5200 tractor with about 185 hours on and it is about seven years old (just use around the property). My problem seems to be in the front-end loader. There are times when it goes up and down in slow motion and then again it will go up and down at normal speed. I did take it into the dealer and it would go in "slow-motion" for them. It seems to be getting worse.

Does anyone have an idea what my problem may be, by the way, the rear hydraulics worksust fine?

Thank you for looking,

Herb

obvious questions are filter and fluids ........ when changed last and what types.

Rpms the same all the time ?

What did the dealer say when it was in slow motion for them?

It never did go into slow motion for the dealer.

Your original post threw me : "I did take it into the dealer and it would go in "slow-motion" for them. "

I would guess that the word "not" was omitted !!!

Let us know what you find out as the problem

Make certain, if you have rear remote hydraulic outlets, that the control lever(s) are in the middle or neutral position.

Some rear remote valves have detents and as the detents age the control may stick on and then the remote is draining hydraulic flow.

If the three point is not properly adjusted and the lever is in the full up position it can create the symptoms you are experiencing. Either have the feed rod adjusted or do not attempt to use the loader with the three point in full up.

It does not matter what position the three-point hitch is in. Sometimes the bucket is slow and sometimes it is norma.
Is it just the boom UP and DOWN that is slow or is the bucket DUMP and ROLLBACK also slow?
