3 point hitch will not hold for very long
Hydraulic 3pt. lift piston has a worn (O ring type) seal, or 3pt. lift adjustment knob fwd. under seat is not set correctly.

Yea little more information might help, like what model tractor.
i have a b6200d with manuel transmission. rebuilt d-850 engine this year and took the screen out in transmission cleaned it up , lots of crude put new hydraulic oil almost 3 gallons and took control arm off to replace gaskets it was leaking a bit should i get to the piston and check and replace o-ring and piston ring so i know it has been up to date?

Yea wouldn't hurt it to refresh the seal on the piston and if the cylinder walls are damaged address that too while in there.
