This my thread to help iron out misconceptions on Kubota useable hydraulic fluids.
I will use Numbers and values, Not opinions or favorites!

There are 2 Hydraulic oil groups to consider, UDT Mineral, SUDT2 Synthetic.
SUDT was a semi synthetic and is obsolete so no need to compare, it did have similar specs to UDT.
Acceptable Fluids
Mineral
Kubota UDT
Mystik JT-5
Shell Rotella HD
Synthetic
Kubota SUTD2:
AMSOIL Synthetic Tractor Hydraulic Transmission Oil SAE 5w-30

Unacceptable (uncompatible)
Most "universal" fluids
All Fluids that are "303"
